My favorite local comedian, now that Andrea is gone, has just filled me with jealousy as he just made the following announcement:

Ugh. Here I go and take classes for broadcasting and do all this prep and whatever just to be looked over! Damn you all! You will scream in pain as my wrath takes over!!

OK, now that that’s passed…just had to let that out before my pent up energy resulted in drowning my sorrows in a fattening milkshake. I love JF. Hella hilarious and P & K will be all the better for it.

Still….dammit.

This is my laugh of the day thanks to Miss Merritt over at Trebek. And probably only funny to those who watched Project Runway this season, a show I got overly obsessed about.

I’m both mildly disturbed and slightly humored by this latest e-mail forward. Apparently it’s supposed to induce Cowboys spirit. Me? It induced a reluctant chuckle.

This video made me laugh so hard I had a hangover headache the rest of the day. UnforGIVEable.

A friend of mine passed this along. Somehow it’s both humorous and harsh. Seriously, can you imagine being nominated Grinch of the Year by your neighbors? Total suckage. Now I’m on the lookout!

This probably shouldn’t be laugh out loud funny but I had to wipe away the tears. Here’s one last Halloween tidbit from the Troma film Children at Play before the witching hour.

Yeah, chocolate and chuckles will be happening tomorrow night at Xocolatl Room and you better be there. Only because I think I have to be there. Which should be really sweet. Get it? Sweet? haha..I crack me up.

Local funny chick and work colleague and neighbor/friend/drinking bud Andrea Grimes is on the bill so, with that alone, you kind of just have to go. Plus, free chocolate fountain. Well, after a ten dollar cover but totally worth it.

Actually I think he’s been doing good for a while but I only found out about comedian Scott Kennedy a couple of years ago when I saw him on Comedy Central at Brother’s Pizza picking up a to go order. Random or what? But in a couple of minutes this guy was killing me. So I’m totally taking credit for introducing you and the world to him.

He comes from Lubbock, went to Houston and now is all big time. Look at some of his bio:

He continues to be a favorite at Harrah’s in Las Vegas performing to sold-out crowds up to five times a year! Comedy Central lists him as one of the Top 100 Comics of All Time.

Kennedy has had his own 1/2 hour special on Comedy Central Presents, as well as appeared on Premium Blend. He is a favorite on CMT Countdown on Country Music Television. He has also been seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, CBS’s The Late Late Show, and on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Scott has performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs, and HBO’s Aspen Comedy Festival.

The point? Oh yeah, he’s telling everyone he’s going to be on the Bob and Tom Radio Show this Wednesday morning. I ain’t ever heard of that show either but you found it here first! So if you happen to remember and are close to a radio/computer/whatever, check him out. Funny stuff.
