Why I’m Fat
thought everyone would like this
I usually just head to Sonic to take advantage of their sweet Happy Hour for half-off drinks and rarely find myself there for food now so I hope this doesn’t lead me into temptation.

I’m so relieved to be off the hook and can now blame those closest to me. Saboteurs I say! And here I was feeling guilty thinking I was doing it to myself. Thank you science.

…it would be here. I’m a bit tired so I just feel like hanging in. I’m most curious, however, about Jacob Ide. I love his songs on his myspace page and am curious about his latest bulletins regarding his merchandise, “I’ll be bringing some of my new FIGHT HOMOPHOBIA shirts tonight. Seriously, they’re great.”
So…if you go, tell me about it and pick me up a shirt. I’ll pay ya back. Sigh…workouts are going strong but my extra padding isn’t leaving as fast as I’d like. So an xl should be a safe bet.

After last year’s e coli scare in Taco Bell, I decided to give it up once and for all. Any kind of disgusting outbreak in a restaurant will pretty much keep me from heading that way ever again. And despite my cravings for a breakfast sandwich, I’ve yet (and probably never will) go back here. Cringe. But Taco Bell has a special place in my heart and probably my arteries. I love their stuff. And they sell Pepsi which seems to be a rare find among fast food places.
When e coli hit the Bell I decided to sever my relationship with it. But the math would work in my favor. More outbreaks, less fast food restaurants to eat, dine a little better, shed a couple of pounds. However, once the scare was over and I was reassured that Taco Bell was safe after convincing PR damage control, I ventured back. Well twice since I’ve cut out a lot of fast foods anways but nonetheless, Taco Bell and I were back on speaking terms. That is until I saw this. Cringes exponentially.
I realize this is probably some freak isolated incident miles away from here but the reality of it is, I’m creeped out. And I’m afraid that I won’t be hearing any more Bells in accord with quick culinary cuisine. I’ll have to find a place more Bueno.
I’m working on a healthier lifestyle for 2007. I’m old enough. I should know better. So I’ve done little things like restrict my dining out and cutting off my time to eat at nine p.m. And then there’s the gym where I’m only doing a bit of cardio until I tailor my workout. And my goal is to drop a pound a week (please tell me that’s a realistic goal).
With that, my grocery shopping has changed a bit. So off I was to Kroger’s and noticed this ad. I’m curious as to who’s the genius that thought of this offer. The pairing here doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, especially since many new and returning dieters might take advantage of the first part of the deal. But then to be tempted by free ice cream? For shame.
But I’m loving me some Rocky Road.

And having said that. Wish me luck.
