First of all

As you know, this old blog was having an identity crisis. It still is butI think some direction is figuring itself out. Not at all trying to sound mysterious but at the same time, what I want to do is a little ambitious and I don’t want to get into many details right now.

Having said that, I thought while said crisis was happening, I’d lay low. Maybe that wasn’t a fair decision to the four people who stop here regularly. So first, I apologize and second, I’ll continue as is and work on the other stuff and get this thing back on track. Admittedly, I’ve been derailed in a lot of things by lack of motivation. It’s not all there yet but I figure at least do SOMETHING instead of nothing. Sooo…here we are.

OK, now, back to our regular blogging.

And starting with this weird headline while perusing Dallas’ Craigslist for Writing Jobs:

Ummmm…really? I didn’t fit the bill but dangit I had to see what it said. The content didn’t help much either:

Writer needed for white paper for recent start-up’s new software product. Paper will need to be written from scratch and is likely to run to about 5,000 words.

So my translation skills tried to kick in but to no avail:

Writer (naive college grad) needed for white paper (The Klan Times) for recent start-up’s (the KKK Uptown Chapter) new software product (white-on-black crime…er…print). Paper will need to be written from scratch (no paid) and is likely to (will) run to about 5,000 words (make that 10,000).

(Payment is a lifetime membership.)

Or, maybe I’m overthinking it.
