G.R.i.D. (Get Rich in Dallas)

Our little Burleson girl/inaugural American Idol winner isn’t quite having things her way lately. Battles with her producers on her upcoming album, a tanking single that I haven’t even heard of yet, firing her manager and now a canceled tour that was overly ambitious in placing the Grammy winner in arenas. I loved me Since You’ve Been Gone and a couple of the other songs from her aren’t that bad but has she really made that much of an impact to garner a packed house at American Airlines Center where she was slated to perform this September 5? Kelly thy name is not Beyonce. Get thee to Nokia…or better yet, House of Blues.

Came across this from Britain’s Got Talent by accident and now I’m completely breathtaken. Stories like this are sappy but I’m a sucker for the underdog who knocks it out of the park. Bravo. Hate that the cheesy Aerosmith song pops up toward the end. And then there was the comment that this wasn’t real. Eh. I’ll maintain that it is.
