Yer midnight plans…

…well, at least mine. I’m just really hoping I don’t miss that last quarter of a certain playoffs game but watching it may also give me a heart attack. Anyways, I’ll be webbing it up with the geeks at Spiderman 3 tonight at 12:01.

SPCA needs help - stat!

This just in from the SPCA of Texas:

We need Help!

Our Pet-O-Meals program which:

Provides free pet food to area organizations to assist their clients who are homebound, elderly, or individuals on disability.

We are in need of new closed dry dog food. Our program helps those in several communities and we are completely out of food.

If you can help please drop bags off at any of our facilities. You can see our locations at ww.spca.org/locations.

Or if you cannot get food to us please donate towards helping us purchase food for those animals in need. www.spca.org/donate

Thank you

Check your grocery store flyers for any pet food on sale but steer clear of that killer dog food. I truly believe SPCA is an angel and I hope at least one person can help out. Of all places, you might can find some good name brand dog food at Big Lots for reasonable prices too.

SPCA would LOVE to see this in their stock. Maybe you can help out.

Scoop of ice cream included?

Tell me that this does not sound like uber super fun. And if you do, I’ll consider you the devil’s offspring. Of course, I may be biased since I’m a huge root beer fan. (but interestingly, not big on the root beer candy - discuss). The thought of an ice cold root beer nestled in a two-hand-grip frosted mug with its foamy bubbly head sends my taste buds into hops heaven. I’m just sad I’ll have to miss this Soda Gallery event tomorrow night due to a triple threat of Ugly Betty/Mavericks/Spider Man 3 viewing more importantly topped by a deadline approaching at light speed. I must have reports if you make it out. My taste buds are already whimpering in flavor frustration and deprivation.
