The future is up to you…with some free breakfast

Speaking of the community, I just got this from the Cathedral Business Network, a union (?) of “gay, lesbian, and gay-friendly business owners, independent service providers, and business professionals committed to building quality business relationships, promoting their products and services, and generating business opportunities” that is stemmed out from the Cathedral of Hope. They are hosting a workshop this Saturday with some probably valuable info concering future life planning within the GLBT community. Good stuff. Check it out:

Time to start saving

Much like the Passbook, I found this coupon book geared toward the GLBT community. A nifty idea in which gay or gay friendly companies offer discounts to their items and services such as “dining, entertainment, car service needs, home décor, lodging, spa/fitness and more.” And they are in the process of signing on even more businesses to get on board. But better yet, 20 per cent of the sales go to the Human Rights Campaign, an organization I believe highly in if I may say.

So head on over to Crossroads Bookstore or whatever their name is now and get you a copy. Gay or not, extra scratch in your wallet is always a good thing. The books are priced at $20.

Ballsy or obnoxious?

There’s always good, fun and juicy stuff to be found on Craigslist. Now, I don’t think I could classify the following as any of these three. It kind of comes off as obnoxious but I am also of the belief that people should take a chance at matters of the heart. Now, those of you who know me very well know that I of ALL people can’t sit here and judge this ad (found under Missed Connections) considering the proclivities of my crushes, but it just kinda puts a bad taste in my mouth. No jokes. You tell me:

You bought the jewelry box for your girlfriend. - m4m
