Addison Fire Department wants to give you super powers
Well, at least one. They are offering CPR classes twice a month for any and all who live or work in Addison. Fortunately, that’s neither for me. Although, I should probably learn.
Classes are usually every first and third Saturday at Fire Station 1, 4798 Airport Parkway and scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon. Not sure if they have pastries though. But, they don’t charge. So that’s sweet. The only catch is buying a $15 ‘textbook’ prior to the class but come on…that’s nothing. Classes will be canceled though if the minimum of five students hasn’t been met.
