Thank Goodness for Camera Phones

While on northbound Preston Road, the road had been reduced to one left lane. So as my lane was zippering over, I’m getting closer awaiting my turn. This lady behind me zoomed over and forced me to stay in my lane almost hitting the pylons. After the knee-jerk hand gesture, I decided to put my phone to use. So readers,, please beware of this Highland Park “lady” who is willing to drive you off the road to continue to lead her unemployed life in the safety of her tax bracket.

Do your Sons proud tonight

Why I like Handclaps and Harmonies:

I first saw them at Wee Demon’s birthday party at Dada way back when and was completely smitten. I really hate describing them though because I can’t do them justice. In their tight white pants and suspenders with their powder blue oxfords, they are a cohesive unit of snow white melodies and cheery dispositional lyrics. They also rock but not in the way, say The Killers rock. Go back a few more decades. I can’t help but think of The Monkees when I see and hear H & H. And that makes me smile because I am a huge fan and can listen to those ditties all day long. Same with H & H songs. If you only knew how many times I listened to their Christmas song. Saw ‘em once more at the Barley House and have decidedly put them on my local faves list.

Because of my previous posting, I won’t be able to make this show. Cry Tell me how it is.
