Justin Time

A while back I wrote about the guy who I think is the funniest man in Dallas. Hadn’t heard much from/about Justin Foster since until today. Looks like a lot is going. I’m just gonna repost his notice here. Although, I may have to take issue with his fags term. Dude, that’s like saying the N word. But hey, I know your having fun. IJS. Best o’ luck to ya. I may come check you out in Deep Ellum.

Friends, fans, freaks, and fags,

It’s been awhile since we spoke.
I hope that all of you had a great holiday
and a wonderful New Year.

Couple o’ things going on here on my end.

Number 1.
If you or anyone you know lives in the Houston area;
I will be performing at the Houston Improv, this
Thursday -thru Sunday (Jan. 11-14) with Doug Stanhope.
Doug is as close to comedy genius as they come and is also
running for president in 2008. It will be a great week!

Number 2.
I will be back in Dallas on Saturday January 20th @ the Liquid Lounge.
This is a great live music venue in Deep Ellum that has
supported me for many years now. It is the Curtain Club/Liquid Lounge
9 year anniversary that night. One cover charge gets you into both clubs
to see tons of bands plus me some where jammed in the middle.

Number 3.
We are currently in pre production for the “We’re All A Mess” DVD.
Without getting too specific, the DVD will be like a low budget “Jackass”
and “Punk’d” but with more nudity and less morals. Help us out by donating to the cause.

Donate to help out our film project, “We’re all a Mess”.
There is a paypal link on my myspace page.
It’s free and private, and even if it’s a dollar, your generosity
will be greatly appreciated!

Click below to find out what we need so far and how
you can help us out and get involved in “movie history.”

That’s all I got.

Talk to you later.

It’s Safe to Come Out…Even After Saturday

Wear it with pride! Or when you mow the lawn.

Get this. They give discounts to their myspace friends. AND they have a blog. Poor guy. He probably wasn’t planning for his name this way.

Free Tix to Switchfoot @ Gypsy Tea Room

I don’t even know who Switchfoot are but thankfully myspace filled me in. Didn’t really hear anything that got me up and moving or even swaying. They aiiight. But if you like ‘em more than me, the Dallas Music Guide may be the people you want to know. They’re having a ticket give away but first you gotta get their attention:

Want tickets to see Switchfoot at the Gypsy Tea Room on 3/25? Just post a comment on the blog at www.DallasMusicGuide.com and that’s your entry. For more details, please go to the contest page there. Thanks for reading!

Probably won’t enter but in the time I wrote this, I do dig their song Dare You To Move. I’m just really hoping it’s not related to the following sentence from their bio on the Gypsy Tea Room site

“Its success, together with their significant presence on the hit soundtrack to the 2002 Mandy Moore vehicle A Walk to Remember, set Switchfoot up for a major-label run.

Good luck
