Seven Day G-Man 9-03
Ooooooooh, this week was a tight one for the SDGM. It started out with Steve Carell at the Emmys. I think most people will agree that he is a handsome guy. But he’s pretty hot for me! Whoooweeee. But alas, a few short minutes of him on the screen couldn’t cut it for the week.
The frontrunner for most of the week was a friend of mine. More than likely a future winner but thanks to TBS, he was eked out barely by Tom Hanks in You’ve Got Mail.
Now, it’s not that said friend necessarily lost, it’s merely that I cannot resist Mr. Hanks in mundane romantic comedies. Especially on a boring Sunday afternoon in front of the TV. What Clooney is to most people, Hanks is to me. His certain brand of genuine charm gets me every time not to mention his understated good looks. But it’s the good guy act that I fall for it no matter what. Like you know you could marry the guy and it would be a good fit. Oh wait, I can’t get married!
So, for this week’s episode, give a round of applause, even if it’s muted to Tom Hanks in You’ve Got Mail.
OK, now, having said all that, I’m not liking the SDGM title. Do you? Suggestions?
